The Future of Insurance

PCI’s Annual Meeting, the largest gathering of property and casualty insurance executives in North America, is being held this week, October 15-17, in Chicago. The theme of this year’s meeting is “The Future of Insurance.”

On Tuesday, industry executives will hear from another strong line-up of speakers. Kicking things off will be Dan Tarullo, former member of the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Open Market Committee who will talk about the future of the financial regulation.

The day’s session will also include a powerhouse reinsurance panel that will discuss the emerging risks in the U.S. and across the globe.

Membership Recognition Ceremony

PCI values all of our members and recognizes those who are celebrating milestone anniversaries. PCI also welcomes new members at the 2017 Annual Meeting. Our members contribute greatly to our organization and help us maintain our influence and enhance our advocacy efforts.

The Griffith Insurance Education Foundation Award

Karen Fulton receives Griffith Foundation’s 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Griffith Insurance Education Foundation today presented its 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award to Karen Fulton, who retired this year as president and CEO of ARI Insurance Company, an AmTrust company.

Karen has been a leader in the industry for many years and is honored for her exceptional contributions to insurance education and support of the missions of the Griffith Foundation and PCI.

The Griffith Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that provides educational resources and improves awareness about insurance careers and issues for students, colleges and universities, and public policymakers. For the past several years at PCI’s Annual Meeting, the Griffith Foundation has honored an insurance professional who has shown dedication to insurance education with The Griffith Foundation Award.

New Officers Elected

PCI elects new officers to its Board of Governors. Kurt Bock, CEO of COUNTRY Financial will now serve as PCI Board Chair. Bock will succeed John Barbagallo President of Commercial Lines, Progressive Insurance.
