  • APCIA Comments on US-China Trade Agreement
  • WASHINGTON — Dave Snyder, vice president of policy, research, and international at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA) issued the following comment:

“APCIA applauds the US-China Phase One trade agreement and hopes it’s a major step forward in phasing out the numerous tariffs impacting consumer costs. Additionally, APCIA is pleased the agreement addresses structural issues such as intellectual property protections, data security, and the reduction in barriers to financial services. We appreciate the work of the negotiators and encourage the parties to quickly begin the next phase to address the outstanding issues.”
